Deep down

Deep down the only thing that interests me is to work on the (a) book and stay with it until it's finished or as close as possible. The documentary in the works or all these other things...except teaching maybe... they are an interference. And now that a publisher is showing interest to Silvia Regina first thing that comes to mind is:
- will this keep me from working on Läskimooses.

Issue 36 done

Unnecessary info

One panel short of finishing issue 36. That and correcting the text, maybe some fine tuning. This issue ended up to be 6 panel/page while I've lately been going with 4 panels/page. And I started with 2 panels/page. Well sort of at least. Many things to say. Next issue I don't know yet but trying to keep it in 24 pgs. Oh, but in issue 36 we have a visiting artist with a side story called The Funny Adventures of Lauri Kenttä. Who is this visiting artist then? You'll find out soon enough. But the plan is to have some person visiting each number this year. Any suggestions?
What else is new? Well summer is coming and I will have less time in the studio. Plan is to finish a quick 2 pager and then start with issue 37. Which I hope will be finished by the end of August. What further muddles things is this documentary that I'm on and which requires all sorts of arrangements. Like meeting a group of students tomorrow. And later on they also asked me to take a camera along to Venice when we're going. That's ok then, will do. Don't know exactly what I will film in there but I guess I'll find out when I'm there.

Just about

Taking a break from work in order to manage some stuff. Issue 36 just about finished. 2 pgs to go. Expect to be done on monday. Then moving on to issue 37. These two then turned out to be the turning point of the story. After that many things will be seen in a different light.
You'll see. Eventually.

Fall

Due to some changes I'll have comics expression 1 mondays (9 to 12)and wednesdays(9-17). Then freehand on tuesdays 17.30 to 21 and comics expression 3 on wednesdays 17.30 to 21. Comics expression one turns into 3 around October. In December I have one week comics in Theatre Academy/Academy of Fine Arts. On top of this I might have one evening class on mondays. Some fall.

Who am I kidding? Myself? The main book will be 1200 pages minimum, could go to 1500. With the so called additions ( some of them LIKE essential) it'll be 200 to 300 pages more. So
Would you REALLY be surprised if this THING goes to 2000?
Cause I wouldn't.
