Opera

Some years back I took a break from listening to opera. Can't remember any specific reason. Might've been when my son was quite small. I didn't stop buying cd's occasionally, but didn't seem to listen them with quite the same enthusiasm.
Anyways, now I notice it is back. I'm now listening those cd's I bought years back but didn't then quite dig in. There wasn't time, or patience. Now I feel I'm resiscovering the artform. Been listening to Schoenberg's Moses und Aron, Wagner's Rienzi, Händel's Orlando... and many more. And most of the other stuff I listen seems to pale in comparison (with a few exceptions: Coltrane for one)
In 2000 I wrote a libretto for an opera composed by Kimmo Hakola. Now I would'nt mind doing another. But then it would have to be a longer thing. Six hours maybe.

Two singers and a chorus. My favorite voice is countertenor or mezzo so maybe that...but could also be two basses.
